Herbalism is the art of using plants for their medicinal purposes – it’s using a salve or drinking a tea to help your body feel better. Plants have been used traditionally all over the world for different purposes; you can check out an overview of ailments for which plants have been used for their curative properties. Plants can be used in their regular herbal form as well as in the form of essential oils.  Carrier oils, other fats, and waxes all have a place in herbalism, where they can be used to dilute essential oils as well as create salves and other products.
